PDO threads are dissolvable threads used in selected treatments for skin support or lifting. Different thread types have different purposes, so your consultation focuses on the area you would like to address and the result that is realistically possible.

Your appointment

Amber assesses skin laxity and explains the proposed technique, alternatives and recovery. Thread treatment is not equivalent to a surgical facelift.

Results and care

Bruising, swelling, tenderness and temporary unevenness may occur. Infection, visible threads and other complications are possible. Follow your individual restrictions on pressure, movement and activity during recovery.

Injectable treatment information

All injectable procedures carry risks. Your practitioner will discuss suitability, alternatives, potential complications and the proposed product before you consent. You will receive written aftercare and contact details for concerns. Do not stop prescribed medication without advice from the clinician who prescribed it.
